Ganges pre-war

Hi

as an ex-Ganges adult trainee, I am keen to find out anything about the period my dad served there just before WW2. He was a naval brigade lad who, like so many others, was economical with the truth about his age when he joined up. His name was Lewis Hale (Binnie Senior) and he went on to serve on HMS Jervis and HMS Indominatable.

Any (really) old salts on here who can indulge me on this one?

Hi mate

Joined it yesterday, as it happens. But I was a member of the old site before it folded, and I let it lapse a bit. Loads of other stuff going on in my life at the time...
