Silly Squaddies. Not something that sailors would ever do out of curiosity, of course! :dwarf: I think it's much more serious confiscating a matelot's iPod. Now that's REAL torture! On a more serious note though, I should have thought rather than scapegoating the squaddies for playing with high-voltage devices, the military establishment and HMG should be explaining why these dangerous weapons were there in the first place. Were they aquired illegally by the soldiers or borrowed from stores? If the latter, what were they doing there? I know they are good for self-defence and are usually non-lethal. I think we should be told.
I don't know, the next thing you know and the military will be using "live" ammunition!
