docrichard's link of the KC135 (if that's what it is) begs the question of the conspiracy nuts who say a plane can't fly that fast that low because of some aerodynamic effect so a plane didn't hit the Pentagon. That plane is going faster than take off speed. Then the fighter jocks are really shifting, really low!

I knew they could fly fast and low before any of the vids posted here and I'd heard the expression 'ground effect'. The Lynx film is impressive but ladies prefer fighter pilots. (So fighter pilots and ladies tell me).

I have seen a very scary movie like these shot with a hand held camere in a Jaguar of the Omani AF. They fly though the wadis for about 15 minutes.

Years ago the French Nvy aerobatiic team vsited Culdrose for the Air Day. They flew something like a Folland Gnat with a butterfly tiail plane. I was watching a very hairy rehearsal when I noticed they where lining up on the hangar with open doors. Quickly had the door.shut!

Might interest you to know that the pilot of that B52 had been the subject of critism in pushing that aircraft above and beyond its capabilities.
So much so he flew a B52 into the deck at an air show, killing all, after attempting the rediculous. Only trouble was --he took 3 other crew with him.
