Still in the 6th Form! o_O

I left my 6th Form in 1981. No computers, no calculators allowed (only slide rule and log tables), had to use a fountain pen (black ink ONLY) or pencil to write all essays - ballpoint pens were BANNED - if you forgot said essay has top left hand corner torn infront of the class (it happed to me in my first year - I've been traumatised ever since  ) and you had to DO IT ALL AGAIN..... Happy days....... NOT!

Have things changed?

Were only the English involved in the railway gauge?

I think not!!!!!! - many were Scottish, Irish and maybe even Welsh!

Obviously written by an American who does not know that the English are just part of THE BRITISH ISLES - or THE UK if you prefer :!: :!: :!:

You still seem to be under the delusion that the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish are separate Nation States. About, give or take a few thousand, 87% of the occupants of UK-PLC live in England. However much it pains the Celtic people and not withstanding whatever happened 200/300/500/2000 years ago, you may have noticed that people who live in England do not call themselves Roman, Saxon, Norman, French or German, all the occupants of the UK are seen by the World as English. This being that  Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are seen as little more as just another County as Devon, Norfolk, Kent, Durham etc are as they have in many cases larger populations and financial clout.

Now if this news pains you please vote and go independent as soon as possible.
