Forms Handed In

#1
Took my medical forms in today. Decided to just go an hand them in to the AFCO as opposed to posting them. They said they'll get sent off tomorrow and to possibly expect a call regarding me medical forms. Just to prepare for my interview and expect my further medical dates to be given in due course. All getting very real, very quickly and it's just a case of getting as fit as possible as quick as possible! But not trying to sprint before I can jog so to speak.

Was also told because of the high priority of the role the process is likely to be quite quick.

I applied for Mine Warfare Specialist in March and I’ve already got my starting date in October. High priority roles do tend to be fairly quick.

I know 7 months seems like a while for an application process, but a friend of mines who went in as an Aircrew-man didn’t get a start until 18 months after his first application! Nothing wrong with his application too, everything went as smooth as it could have.

I’m not trying to scare you, but be prepared to wait a while in between each step of your application.

Good luck!

I'm not expecting to be rushed in just repeating what they said. Not in a rush personally in any case just need to change my diet and training soother rather than later.
