Flag Officer protest resignation/

#1
Does anyone have the figures for the number of senior officers of flag rank in each of the three services having resigned their commission over a matter of conscience since WW2?

Many have written books and made much money telling us just how apalling it all was when they were in; but none had the strength, of character, to risk it when they were serving. Or am I wrong?

They continue to drip when they have retired on handsome pensions; but whilst serving-silence

Senior Officers of Flag rank. As opposed to Sub Lieutenants of Flag rank?

The Army and Crab Air don't have officers of Flag rank. Do you know anything about the Navy/Armed Forces?

As for the figures, hang on, I'll just consult my copy of Seadog's Answers to Bone Questions.

Gordon Bennett, I'm replying to an oxygen thief who now has a suspended account. Oh well, he'll still be able to read it.
