First Aid Course at Whale Island

I'm thinking of booking onto the five day First Aid course that they run at Whale Island. The last time I tried to book onto it a couple of years ago I was told that they are only taking bookings if you are waiting to be deployed on Operations. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

TB, if it's in your Training Matrix and you are about to go out of date, then your PSIs should book it (after you ask them nicely, of course). If you get no joy, I'm sure ESSO TOO would like to know, as it is a potential career foul!

Let us know how you get on? (Shouldn't be an issue .........)
