Well i finally cracked it. Passed out as an original on friday, what an incredible day it was! Nearly blubbed in front of the lads (nearly :)

Training was a bitch at times, but im so glad i joined up. Best choice i ever made. I'll join 40 after my drivers course.
being a sprig for a while can't be nearly as bad as being a recruit ;)

Well done matey, now the work starts for real. Earning that "Green beret" makes it all worth while!

Being a SPROG might be worse.
    Good effort young thruster.
As Super Mario says the real work starts now, keep up your personal fitness, you'll get some phys in MT Troop (Not a lot!!), so it's easy for it to drop away.
A good couple of runs (Physical not ashore!) a week is a good idea, over and above any Troop PT/sport.
My Cousins son is in 40 at the mo so you're in good company. :thumright:

Well done mate. I passed out on friday as well at ctc on my reserve forces commando course. You're pass out parade is quite an impressive affair it has to be said. My passout consisted of our tp sgt taking us into an office saying "good effort you've passed, now put your lid on and **** off".

Least I don't have to do 2 weeks solid of drill though, happy days!
