My client is one of the leading manufacturers with the most comprehensive range of high value machinery and tooling for the Injection Moulding industry. They are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the existing team of Service Engineers, Ideally, Based in Central UK along with a remit to cover the whole of the UK and Ireland, The primary responsibility of the Service Engineer is to perform fault finding and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of machines across the UK and Ireland.
Whilst this opening is a customer facing role, Field Service experience is NOT a pre-requisite and therefore this position presents itself as an excellent opportunity to join an established company and, although not essential, could be well suited for a person who has previously served in the Armed Forces and has a proven technical/engineering background along with sound Electrical engineering knowledge and experience working on Servo-Hydraulic equipment and machinery. i.e. British Army, REME, Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm or Royal Air Force (RAF) and has previously worked within Aircraft Engineering, Marine Engineering, Weapons Engineering.
In return the company offers a comprehensive training program and travel to the parent company factory in Germany as part of the training in order to gain a full understanding of the machines portfolio and process.
