    My client is a leading provider of telecommunications solutions. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Field Based Telecommunications Engineer in any of the following locations; South West: Bristol, Gloucester, Bath, Bournemouth, Southampton / London-Home Counties: Watford, Brentwood, Dartford, and Guildford. Reporting to the Service Manager the successful candidate will work from home and will travel to customer sites carrying out the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to customers over the telephone advising on general matters as well as carrying out remote diagnostics and fault repairs. Please note candidates must be flexible in approach to travel as you will be expected to cover the South of the UK.
    Although not essential, this may be well suited to candidates coming from an (ex-military) background i.e. Royal Navy, Army or Royal Air Force/RAF. It is essential that the candidate has experience of one or more of the following: Aastra, Siemens/Unify Hipath PBX or Unify Openscape PBX, Mitel 5000, NEC XN120, NEC SL100.
