Falconer attacks "bonkers" police decisions

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. The lord in question may say it's bonkers, but it's his little lawyer cronies and the judges HE IS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR that are interpreting the law in such a way as to render the police and other authorities powerless. Typical useless Tony's crony - when your plans don't work, blame something, anything but the root cause!
  2. Ah Slim, but he is quite right! Public authorities should take a commonsense approach to the law, as close reading of the original Convention makes clear! The rights contained in the Act are always aubject to the precondition of respecting the rights and freedoms of others - something frequently ignored.
