Fail officers AIB what would you then be offered????

If you fail your Officer AIB would you then be offered a chance to join up as a OR???

If you fail AIB by a small margin they offer you the option of going back in 6 months

If you fail but they think you have potential then you will have the option of going back in 1 year.

If you completely mess it up they might not give you an option of coming back. I am not entirely sure about being offered a place as a rating, i think you would have to re-apply as a rating to do that

 

If you fail any element of Officer selection it's always worth having a chat with your ACLO with regard options open to you. Rating entry is certainly worth considering, if available to you, with maybe the longer term aspiration to apply for Officer again later.
