Yes you can wear one as you're a civvy, even the blokes can grow one.

I was also going to ask the same question, as it’s a 10 week initial course and I was a little concerned that it’s the same as initial training for the RN

The best part of a year... bare in mind this was during the opening salvos of the pandemic so may well have slowed things down considerably especially security clearance.

16 months since application went in to unconditional offer. . . still waiting for contracts to arrive, they were supposedly being posted out 2 weeks ago (HR seems really effective) SC took 4 months to process...

Thanks boys, appreciate your answers, I’m already MOD SC’d from my time in the navy and my service number is still active and with a wee bit of luck my pshycometric test still has 8 month left on it from my working out! Just wanted to see how long each process took and what kinda things could be cut out from what I already have active, if that makes any sense! Hope to see you boys out in the fleet

I came from civi street, but have had 12 years in the Army, some of which was as a blue job.
