Chaps,
I'd be grateful for some nautical advice please. My Uncle has sadly just passed away at the age of 80 after a long fight against cancer. His wife pre-deceased him and they had no children. He was always a bit of a maverick and in his later years sadly became a bit of a loner, largely withdrawing from family contact. However, I always got on well with him and, as a 13 year veteran of the FAA, he always enjoyed chatting aircraft with me and followed my own service career with interest.
Therefore, although he wasn't enormously religious, I'd like to include an appropriate nod to the Senior Service - and particularly the Fleet Air Arm - in his funeral which is scheduled for 19 Jun 15. I've found a FAA prayer but do not feel that this is entirely appropriate. Therefore, I wondered if there are any other FAA or RN prayers of hymns which anyone could suggest.
Many thanks for your help.
Regards,
MM
