  1. Hello, quick question, is there any particular reason why the eyesight standards for the left eye are lower than for the right? If they are switched I easily meet the standard required, however as it stands I fail because of the weak right eye.. any ideas?

    Who would have thought the RN's full of one eyes. Better get it in before any of the pongo slugs turn up.
     
  4. ah right makes sense, passed my psychometric tests yesterday applying and was applying to be a warfare officer, not much point now in that case, gutting

    Have you considered / are there other officer roles available that do not have such stringent eyesight standards?

    Has someone at the AFCO advised you on this / have you asked?
