Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone else around here ex-Ganges?

I joined as a J(Mech E), 1957, but passed into tiffy country, Fisguard and Condor. Ended up an AA1 in the FAA. Left 1969.

  2. Yep - 11 Recruitment on 11 Feb 58 as a JNAM(AE). Made Chief Air Fitter before going to BRNC and subsequently left RN in 1994 as Lieutenant Commander. I trust that you are a member of the HMS GANGES Association?

  11. Hig, you are the only one old enough to have gone to Bramcote.

  12. Just missed Bramcote---was Arbroath in Nov 58.

  13. +Gawd! Now I know I'm old! I went to Bramcote before Hig!
