Tons of examples above, Ninja Stoker is the resident careers advisor who gives up his time outside the AFCO to help potential sailors.

thanks merlin once again. ill look through these during the week.
are you yourself serving in the navy?

No I have been through the whole recruiting process and am waiting for a start date for phase one training as AET. Only about another 16 months to go assuming the waiting times don't increase

wow 16 months. what is it your going to do?

Aircraft Engineering Technician Fleet Air Arm. The current wait for that job is 30 months. Any idea on what you would like to do?

I thought you wanted to be a dog-handler or, failing that, a driver.

Hi Dave,

I have just finished reading your post / thread. Re your English 'score', consider the following;

Your..............possessive i.e. your car
You're............abreviation of 'you are'
There.............directional i.e over there
They're...........abreviation of 'they are'
Their...............possessive i.e. their car

I am not trying to be a smart arse. Please accept in the manner intended.

poor dave11

"Tried for the Navy - Failed & couldn't wait for re-sit.

Joined the Army - Didn't like it so left'

Tried being a civvy but didn't like that, either."

So he is clocking up threads here at RR on joining the RN, and at ARRSE on re-joining the Army.......

Going round in circles like a rudderless STC whilst missing an obviously ideal career - in the RAF.

sorry but this is not a formal letter or forum. my spelling or punctuation does not have to be on the ball. so long as people can understand. and if they can not. then ill re-edit it.

sorry worked with the RAF before and didn't like one of them. enough said.

There's 42000 of them, the chances of having to work with the one you didn't like again are slim

so everyone know's.

1. i only knew about ARRSE. so posted a question about re-joining.

2. i then discovered rum ration, so then posted a question about joining the navy.

3. the navy is what i want to do. fact.

so if your thinking im just trying to get in anywhere then your wrong. i want to do this for reasons that i have already stated.

i'm sorry if i have annoyed people be posting similar topic's on both site's. i just want to low down on both.

thanks to those who have gave me advice and tips.
