Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Eurostar, the high speed international rail service connects London with Paris and Brussels.  The London terminal is St Pancras. The service uses eighteen carriage class 373 engines running at up to 186 mph. The staff size of Eurostar is realtively small when looked at in terms of it being the dominant operator of cross-channel travel, (9.2 million passengers in 2009) and staff turn over is very low. (average length of service is eight years).
We have been asked to find two canididates, one as a member of staff is relocating abroad and the second is a new position being created.
In the past Eurostar have found it difficult to find candidates with both Quality and Safety experience. They have thus decided that you willl need to be ideally NEBOSH qualified and the quality side can be trained. It is also important however that you have a technical background, and "soft skills" ie an ability to work as part of a team liaising with managers, technicians and engineers and have an ability to communicate clearly and influence others.  For further information please email us a copy of your CV. As with all "Soldier On!" roles to comply with legislation we welcome enquiries from ALL service-leavers and ALL former service personnel.[hr]Click for more information about this job......
