Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I was told, many years ago, that it was the Irish who invented the bagpipes. They then gave them to the Scots as a joke but the Scots have yet to see the funny side of it.
  2. :D :D Haggis and neeps,mmmmm luvely stuff,rinsed down with a pint of tartan, 8)
  3. I was taught it was springs and neeps!

Anything washed down with a wet is lovely!
  4. Yes Steve, but not Tartan....like Brew 10 only the water is Scottish :D
  5. But is it really Scottish when the rain clouds responsible gathered the water vapour from the North Sea? Norwegian glacier water on the other hand is much more authentic. Mmmmmmmmm.
