I was told, many years ago, that it was the Irish who invented the bagpipes. They then gave them to the Scots as a joke but the Scots have yet to see the funny side of it.

I was taught it was springs and neeps! :biggrin:

But is it really Scottish when the rain clouds responsible gathered the water vapour from the North Sea? Norwegian glacier water on the other hand is much more authentic. Mmmmmmmmm.
