Edit symbol on posts.

Can anyone tell me why I have an "edit" symbol and "X" on all of my posts in right hand corner???
Also my "in box" on my profile states that I have 65535 new entries!

Edit in case you wish to alter posting as in "Forgive me Tony I really think you are the a great leader" from BLIAR THE LIAR.

And X to delete completely.

Thanks Backpacker...but the "X" seems to have disappeared now and looks like I'm the only one on all the posts that has the Edit box??
(I guessed that the edit was for the reason you state)

What about the 65535 on my Inbox PM?? Just know It's somethnig simple but I am the village idiot!

I'm afraid that this is a known problem that just happens sometimes ..... the technical answer is that this is what happens when you subtract 1 from zero if you are using a field with a maximum size of 65536!

You only get the Edit box on your own posts, you can't Edit other peoples.
