Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Take the banks for whatever you can they have been ripping us off for long enough.
  2. Re: Dyslexic sues bank - because he can't read his statement

He's certainly taking the sipp ,

And his son is a matelot! :D
  4. He alerted the banks of his position yet they failed to act. They appear to have acted unreasonably, given their statutory obligation to make reasonable adustments to accomodate people with disabilities. It comes down to what a judge decides is reasonable.
  5. He also has Dyscalculia so even iof he could read the numbers he still cant add up.But then thats Normal for Norfolk!!!
  6. Since when did it become the banks job to control an individuals spending?
As a self employed property developer who is also dyslexic would it not have been prudent for him to engage the services of an accountant?
Perhaps he thinks the banking services should do everything for him.
I'm not a fan of the banks, however even in today's nanny state people must take responsibilities for their lives.
  7. I am somewhat surprised that a businessman doesn't employ an accountant. Even I've taken professional financial advice when needed!
  8. Re: Dyslexic sues bank - because he can't read his statement
