Dyslexic sues bank - because he can't read his statements

He alerted the banks of his position yet they failed to act. They appear to have acted unreasonably, given their statutory obligation to make reasonable adustments to accomodate people with disabilities. It comes down to what a judge decides is reasonable.

Since when did it become the banks job to control an individuals spending?
As a self employed property developer who is also dyslexic would it not have been prudent for him to engage the services of an accountant?
Perhaps he thinks the banking services should do everything for him.
I'm not a fan of the banks, however even in today's nanny state people must take responsibilities for their lives.

I am somewhat surprised that a businessman doesn't employ an accountant. Even I've taken professional financial advice when needed!
