Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Stopped off in Dundee today (dont know why. something about me brother's B'Day or whatnot).

Anyways I stumbled across a collection of slabs.
I was slightly curious as this weren't there last time I had a wander down the dee docks. As you do.

Turned out to be a memorial for subs in WW2 (in case you didn't guess from the title)

heres a linky for the RN news-piece:

  2. Hmm I should go down and have look, given its relatively local to me. I was going to go down for the dedication but already had other plans made for that day.
    Thanks for the pics :)
