Duane syndrome

My son is interested in joining the navy but has a condition called duane syndrome in his right eye. It doesn't affect his vision at all. Just wondered if anyone else had come across this and had failed to get in because of it. Thanks.

I'm not a medical person at all so not qualified to make any formal comment.
But; with the syndrome effecting vision to the degree eye movement is degraded I would assume the worst.
However, as 'WreckerL' says, get your son to visit the nearest AFCO and get the Navies official word on it. Only Capita and the RN can make any formal medical decision.
