Hi Bastion,
Hopefully this will help you manage expectations, I followed up on my application and here's the automated response from the AFCO:
Due to the current global uncertainty regarding Coronavirus, the Royal Navy has temporarily suspended assessments in the UK for overseas candidates. This is to prevent disadvantage to you. UK guidance is that individuals should not travel and those developing symptoms on arrival should self-isolate. This risks individuals missing their interviews and medical appointments and sufferihg personal loss. Those who have booked travel should cancel. The Royal Navy will resume its assessment programme as soon as it is practicable
Being a dual national is fine as long as it is approved on the role you are applying for. In my case I am a British Citizen, however I have been working outside the country since 2011 and acquired another nationality in the Philippines due to my parents being originally from this country. Now I am in the overseas applicant pool and I guess we just have to wait.
Not sure if it will help but I am looking to go back home to the U.K. around September, regardless of the result of my Royal Navy application.
