I found this site the other night and couldnt resist joining. Hope you don't mind an ex RAN foreigner coming aboard. I was at Dolphin in 77 for SM parts 1 and 2 then at Faslane for a while. In 88 I spent some time at Cambridge on exchange. Names like Diamond Lils, the Prince Regent and Boobs bring back some fond but often confused memories.

Good to see RN hospitality hasn't changed. Feel free to mark up the beers on my mess number! My time Dolphin was outstanding, however I have heard a rumor that it has shut down. Is nothing sacred?

Dolphin is now the home of the Army Medics, though I understand the Tank is still in use by the RN
