RIP Clive, thanks for the memories and sayings that I'm sure will stay in the English language for many a year
  6. He had a hit record in Grandad? but I dont remember seeing him in owt other than Dads.
  7. Get in! I had him in my dead old **** sweepstake. Need Forsyth and Phil the Greek to go now in the next few weeks and my accumulator will be complete.

  12. Mr Pastry was definitely not Clive Dunn
  13. Ian Lavender must be the last man standing.
  14. As regards the front row of the platoon I think he is.Of the others I think Warden Hodges and the Vicar are still with us.
  15. You're correct, Bill Pertwee (Warden Hodges) is 86 and Frank Williams (Vicar) is 81. Google is my friend!!
  16. What about the U-boat captain? Or can't you tell me?
  17. Phillip Madoc, slipped off his plate fairly recently
