Doctors and Nurses at War

No doubt, lots of us watched this programme last night on the box.
I was quite amazed at the number of NHS staff that were in the Territorial Army. But didnt they do well.
a BZ to all of the medical staff who are helping to save lives in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

It was awful!

In my opinion, they didn't do themselves any favours. Described as "NHS volunteers" was not a good start. Sounded like "civvies in uniform".

Very different to the current lot out there (mainly RN).

Angrydoc - it is interesting that you have that take on it. Of course you see it from a different perspective from us non medical people. I am just the same with Judge John Deed and other legal dramas. However, in the words of the quote "There's no such thing as bad publicity". So it is good that the actions of these people are being highlighted.
