Docklands24: "Limehouse Church To House Ark Royal Navy Flag"

From a Thames riverboat, at Limehouse bend, St. Annes Church is identifiable by it's prominent tower and unique White Ensign:

(IIRC that golden ball is synchronised with the 13.00 red ball time signal of Flamsteeed House at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.)
I was born and raised a mile or so away....
Then it was a tatty and run down part of town but with excellent pubs.
Now it is full of 'Pret a Manger' imported coffee bars and no pubs.
Times change.
