Station to Victory Gate = 1 minute.
Victory Gate to HMS Victory = 5 minutes.
HMS Victory to Jago Road = 1 minute.

Depends if you're carrying kit. If you have a shitload, get off at Portsmouth & Southsea Station and get a taxi, which goes to the Dockyard via Unicorn Gate (no vehicular access at Victory Gate these days).
  3. Thanks SPB :D .

If you stop to wipe the soles of your shoes from all the dog poo then it can take a long time. If you are immune to the smell, say a regular to Pompy then it should take next to no time.
  5. Blimey, I don't think I've ever done the station to Victory Gate in a minute! 90 seconds, perhaps. Via the paper shop. Or the Ship and Castle :D

50% discount on drinks in the S&C if you show your ID card-safeguard! :D
  7. Never done it either always stopped for an egg sarnie and a pint of milk or one of the many watering holes !!
  8. Quite so, 50% offer is taken advantage of most visits!

Great hangover cures at the Standup, too.

No, why should one take a minute from the station when there are so many distractions en route?
  9. Five minutes, more if you stop off at what few, if any, are left of the pubs on the Hard.

...longer, if you go via The George, Marthas and Drummonds!
  11. And yet more for a dodgy sausage, chips and curry sauce.
