  1. Hi guys just got my start date woop :) received my pack in the post last week, having trouble with the 'illness since my last medical' I had a mild bout of shingles last October just wondering if I should put it down? Not sure what will happen if I do

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers guys

  2. You put it down as it is an illness you have had since your last medical.

As long as it is no longer active you won't have a problem. An MO will give you a checkup to ensure it's cleared up (or they should). If it's still active you should avoid immunocompromised people such as (inter alia) young children, pregnant ladies and the elderly. Current activity of shingles will delay your entry as it will get worse as you are worked hard and sleep less during Phase I training.

  3. Sounds like good advice with or without shingles !!!
