    In this role you will use your Project Management and bidding experience to support and deliver capture planning (scheduling, strategy reviews, requirements definition, stakeholder analysis management and reporting); define the planning and project management approach for programmes in accordance with Prince 2 / PMI methodology (as required) and support the delivery of proposal documentation to define approach and support invitation to tender/negotiation phase.
    You will need the following:

    Educated to degree level either in a science/engineering based subject - essential
    Formal qualification in project management - essential (e.g. PMP certified, Prince 2 practitioner, ISEB)
    Bid management experience - essential (e.g. Shipley)
    Formal training in programme management - highly desirable
    Formal training in project planning tools - e.g. Microsoft Project
    Membership of a professional body - desirable (e.g. APM, BCS, IEE, CIM)
    Significant project management experience in communications, IT or engineering design, development and implementation projects - essential
    Project management experience including projects to 50+ staff - essential
    Experience in project management for public sector organisations (MOD or civilian) - essential
    Broad knowledge of systems and technology IT and database - highly desirable
    Knowledge and experience of managing split location design teams - highly desirable
