Deferring my entry?

I'm about halfway through the joining process for the engineer apprentice (just done my psychometric test and I am awaiting the results) but I had to have a knee arthroscopy to repair some cartilage that was causing my knee to lock. I won't be fully recovered until October so would I be able to defer my entry (if I get accepted) until I am fit to join?

Cheers, Mike.

Methinks this may be better answered by your local recruiting office. Even our resident recruiter has to sleep!!!!

As soon as you can (like today) get in touch with your AFCO or the RFA equivalent) and explain your circumstances, they will explain your options from there. It can't be stressed enough the importance of taking immediate action.
