Hi everyone, my 16 year old daughter passed her phychometric tests yesterday and her first interview to become a trainee chef in the navy, very excited for her! But we have just been to see the nurse practioner with a slight lingering cough shes had since we came back from fuerterventura 3 weeks ago, the nurse has said shes physically fit but has a very slight wheeze which the nurse thinks is a reaction to a hayfever tablet she took on holiday for what turned out to be a cold. She has prescribed her montelukast tablets for 28 days but when you google these tablets they are used to treat asthma symptoms. Ive had to write this on her medical questionaire and now we are both worried sick they will see what the nurse has prescibed, assume she has asthma and then be a straight no before she even gets to the medical! If anyone has had anything like this happen before joining or has any advice we would be very greatful. Shes runs 2 miles with ease with no wheezing or problems so i really dont think its asthma or anything to worry about. Really hoping this dosent stop her going further as ive never seen her so excited or determined before!
