CV Writing, any help??

#1
Hi,

I am a currently serving PO (WE) and really could do with some help with CV writing, I have seen examples on the net but none that really capture and show off all the skills we have learnt. If anyone has any CVs they could send me (obviously I only need the employment section) that would be really great as just need some pointers and cant get to an education / resettlement office. Please email me at

Thanks for any help you can give, Cheers

The templates on Microsoft Word are pretty good too, and save you trying to format the damn thing!

When do you leave the mob? If less than 2 years to go, you need to get yourself on a Careers Transition Workshop - they will give you shedloads of CV advice.

If you haven't put your notice in, then you could always have an informal chat with the resettlement people - they may have some handouts geared to the RN.

I have a couple of CV's, obviously just the employment section, that I use for different jobs that I can email to you. PM me with your email addy and I'll send them to you. I got some help with mine recently so hopefully they should help you.
