6 months for gods chosen branch, must have some carriers to fill
Always a need for cannon fodder6 months for gods chosen branch, must have some carriers to fill
Except the carriers don't have a liability for ET(AE), FAA Squadrons might....
And what's an ET(AE)? Bringing your new fangled ways into a traditional branch
The best answer is to send the lad to the AFCO and pick their brains. I am in no way any kind of expert but reading this forum has taught me that waiting times are a moving target a dependent on the number of recruits required at any one time. @Ninja_Stoker has recently been reappointed to a new job away from recruitment so may not be able to give you up to date figures.Hello All ,
I am new to this site and am not ex Navy but ex Army . I would like to direct my question to anyone who can help but I know that Ninja Stoker seems to have most answers relevant to up to date recruiting . My Grandson who is 15 at present is very keen to join the RN and even now is taking quite a mature attitude to what he hopes will be a future career for him as a Weapons Engineer Technician . He is expecting average to good GCSE results this year but he is aware that it is also down to him scoring a decent result on the Recruit Test . I am giving him as much moral support as possible and also the benefit of some of my experiences in the Forces . As he will be 15 yrs 9 mths in May this year he intends to apply asap , could you please let me know what is the current waiting time from 1st application through to being accepted for HMS Raleigh as a WE Technician ?
Kind regards .
M
