Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. In today's Daily Telegraph Group Captain Andrew Ades RAF retd seeks to defend , in the shape of HMS's Diana's Skipper and, co-incidently, all the nuclear test flotilla veterans.
Strewth! .We now have the privileged few looking after the interests of the many.
    Where will it end?
  2. Letter? Feature? News item? Leader? Any link or at least some idea of what he said?
  3. I served on HMS Diana, 1963/64, long after the tests Anyone know the half life of Uranium and is it absorbed in metals and should I get my claim in now?
  4. Thank you. I don't know enough about the subject to express an opinion. I have learned to mistrust medical statistics but there seems sufficient cause for redress, or at least re-visiting the subject.
