Unfortunately, this is a recent problem, but there are some guys who I think can help you. Debt collectors are the worst people! They abuse the power they have, and I hate how they started harassing my friends when the virus started. Two of my friends have lost their jobs, and they both had debt. They missed a few payments, it was understandable in the given situation... They received more than a hundred emails, and calls, it was crazy... I wanted to help them out, and I contacted a law firm, lemberglaw.com. These guys specialize in stuff like this, and they really helped.
