No I have no scientific evidence as to why the Virus is rampant, and getting worst, must be the government's problem. @Dredd you been partying?
There you go @fishhead some facts, obviously the middle one at the bottom may be iffy?

Question, if lots of countries are borrowing money to support the Covid Lockdowns, who is the rich git with all the cash?

Just been on the news , As of monday we are back in lock down for the whole of November.
Pretty much everything closed apart from shops , schools , chemists and petrol stations.
Travel within Germany very restriced as are social contacts.

<...Germany could be removed from the UK’s quarantine-free green list this week following a sharp rise in Covid-19 infections.
The country reported 5,986 new positive tests on Wednesday, well down on the 13,161 seen on Tuesday, but its seven-day infection rate has now reached 99.5 per 100,000 – up from around 50 a week ago.
It is thought that the Government’s new threshold for quarantine restrictions is 100 per 100,000, putting Germany right on the brink ahead of tomorrow’s weekly review of the travel corridors list.
Paul Charles, chief executive of travel consultancy The PC Agency, said the Government is “very likely” to remove Germany on Thursday, adding: “It’s had a very sudden increase. In the last two weeks its infection rate has gone up by nearly 200 per cent...>>

IIRC our forefathers twice learned that (early doors) the Ardennes Route drew little scrutiny.

Spoke to me mom today in Costa Blanca, she reckons it’s getting worse now with restrictions etc.
Even though my folks barely venture out. Happy by their pool I guess.

The whole of Andalucia goes into isolation from midnight tomorrow. Along with this, it is not permitted to leave your town, unless for work.

Lucky we got down to Gib the last couple of days for some 'essential' shopping supplies!

Back to casa SB for a bit of isolation!

Because of shopping restrictions across Wales, and the fact that non essential shopping item aisles are taped off, the Welsh government has stated that everybody will now get a large loaf of sour dough bread and a family sized bottle of Head and Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo as Christmas presents for 2020.

@fishhead how the data is gathered, maybe iffy, but it does show a dam good reason for shutting all roads south of Bristol and west of Dorset, the Grockles have done there bit and Students aren't helping.

One shop of my list

Food chain Pret a Manger has given a testy response to its founder's comments on the possibility of another national lockdown in the UK.

Julian Metcalfe, who founded Pret as well as Itsu, told the Daily Mail a tightening of nationwide restrictions would be "impossible", adding: "Society will not recover if we do it again to save a few thousand lives of very old or vulnerable people."

He said young people in Britain would face the impact of the virus for "the next 20 to 30 years" and that just because France is soon to begin a second national lockdown, "doesn't mean we have to".

Pret distanced itself from Metcalfe's words, saying on Twitter: "He has not run the business for over 10 years and we do not agree with his opinion. We at Pret strongly believe we must take steps to stop the spread of the virus and tackle the new wave of infections."
