Corona Virus

Who's going virus hunting this weekend in the name of, I need a pint in a pub?
I've been locked down for 109 days. I miss the pub, the beer, the banter and male company, but I'm not going to spoil it or risk it for the sake of a pint or three. Tomorrow promises to be a day for the dickheads; stand by, especially if the sun makes an appearance. I note that the onus is on the licensee to enforce social distancing. Given the old maxim of beer in, brains out, the poor old landlords and their staff will have an impossible task.
Coincidentally, I've got 25 pints of home brew (c/o Munton's brew bag) due for drinking tomorrow. Wifey doesn't like beer, so I'll have to scupper the lot myself. Oh dear, life's a bitch - keep smiling!

I think a lot of the smaller pubs will stay shut for a while, big chains will open. I heard one Landlady being interviewed, can't remember where from, She said they would only be serving regulars anyone else would be turned away. There's a recipe for a disaster waiting to happen.

Agree 100%.

However, I do feel sorry for all the A&E staff who will no doubt have to look after hundreds of inebriated rsoles up and down the country.

In that article someone was quoted as saying "we would like everyone to be sensible"... like they were on Brighton beach?

We have an amazing education system, yet we still produce morons...
