Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Heres a funny pic.its a Leading hand from the Lord Nelson pre WW1.The odd thing is he has a tache, not a full set.So what were the rules back then?Or is he bending the rules?

  2. Andy, they used to be allowed tashes in those days, for some bizzare reason. I've some piccies of the old G-Place somewhere (the one that was a real ship) and some of the Instructors had them. I'll try to find and post them later.

    PS: Isn't that the Kaiser?

  3. Me thinks he was probably an RAF interloper. They get everywhere!
