    Senior Configuration Engineer

    50bn of 70bn of UK government spend in next 20yrs will be on Maritime programmes. Come and join BAE Systems and help define the future of global maritime defence capabilities. From our headquarters in Portsmouth, BAE Systems Maritime Services delivers end to end support to over 50 per cent of the Royal Navy's Surface Fleet. Our services include ship upgrades, repairs, dockyard facilities management and provision of combat systems training.

    We also develop and support the Royal Navy's complex equipment such as radar, torpedoes and small boats. The 2016 arrival in Portsmouth of the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier demands a significant capital building programme as we reconfigure the dockyard and prepare our teams to support these iconic ships. With approximately 3,500 employees based at five UK locations and a revenue of 650 million we are proud to support the Royal Navy in global operations.
