I have three copies of the biography of Jock Lewes who David Stirling recognised as the real brains behind the outfit. Lewes devised and carried out the initial training of SAS personnel. Sadly he was killed and did not go on to received the full merit he should have done. In his spare time he invented the Lewes Bomb which was a very effective tool in taking out enemy equipment, especially aircraft on the ground. Great review by rebbonk which can be read here: Jock Lewes Review As ever, comp entry through page on Survey Monkey which can be found here: Entry Form This competition will run until Sunday 1st May (unless I decide to go away for the bank holiday in which case it will be later!) Note: The questions may not be quite what you expected - read and inwardly digest before answering. They are about SAS though.
