Combat Stress, the veterans' mental health charity has a vacancy for a Planned Giving Officer based at our head office and treatment centre at Leatherhead in Surrey. The team is responsible for both legacy fundraising and administration as well as in memory giving. This is a vital source of funding our work helping veterans and we need someone to join us who is empathetic and, ideally, familiar with the military (more details of what's required in the link below). In compliance with the Forces Covenant, if a veteran has relevant skills they will be guaranteed an interview.

You will be working with the Head of Planned Giving (which is me!) and the Senior Planned Giving Officer. This role will involve a certain amount of legal administration, saving data using SharePoint to comply with Charity Commission Guidelines. Also you will be helping with supporter enquiries and interactions. This is an exciting role as you will be part of the team which ensures supporters are aware of how vital gifts in Wills are in funding our work, as well as having the opportunity of helping with supporters who give in memory of a loved one, all to help veterans.

If you'd like to know more, please feel free to email me ([email protected]) or take a look at the role on our website at Planned Giving Officer - Head Office | Combat Stress
