Hiya lads hope you're all doing well during lockdown 2, got a tricky one for you lot. I've got my date set for 1st March as Warfare Specialist, everything's sorted and I had my face to face medical yesterday, passed everything but then the bloke shown me the dreaded ishihara test and only just failed 3 of the green/yellow (partly as he was waving it about for 2 secs then turning the page and repeating) not being funny he was also quite happily banging and bashing about and chucking all his work about when I was doing the hearing test which I could hear every bit of him doing so. he then said I was unfit for service and I'll need to do a matched wires test at the AFCO which I'll know I'll pass and I've heard about the lantern test being used after the matched wires test being spoke about on this site so I've done many lantern and colour IQ tests online and passed them all but failed 2-3 of ten number patterns on ishihara online tests so I know it's not too bad, any ideas of what will happen would I have to change branch with me only failing the ishihara cos I know I'll be able to pass matched wires and the lantern, just worried as it's only 100 days till I'm off down to Raleigh and if I have to change branch what other good options would you lot recommend with a good career path and travel opportunity as I was really gutted when I heard the doc say this thinking I might not get the job I want, hope this questions answerable, cheers boys ! Much appreciated
