2 Puma's from RAF Benson have been circling Cardiff the past few days and plenty of videos of them on social media practicing urban landings here in Cardiff Bay. I happen to know however that civil engineers from Government departments have also utilised them in this time to survey the many coal tips around South Wales.
The one slide that did occur in the Rhondda was directly opposite my parents home, thankfully no houses/roads below that one but a much larger one sits just along the hillside from there. Can't help but be reminded of the Aberfan disaster and how much damage these things could cause.
