Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Any suggestions on good cleaning products to use on the white plastic cap cover they issue SRs and above? Washing up liquid doesn't seem to be particularly effective...

plastic! What ever happened to cotton covers?
  3. Take the cover off and put in in the washing machine on a 40 degree cycle. Leave to dry in airing cupboard or hang the radiator. DONT tumble dry it, it will melt.
  4. Block of pussers- hard and a hand scrubbing brush, scrub vigorously until the 'plastic cap-cover' is completely fucked, ditch then buy a new cotton one at slops.
