Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. It's made people scream, cry, get outraged and stamp their feet. Therefore I think it's awesome.

  2. He knows exactly what he's doing and he says these things to gain publicity. He's an entertainer and that's exactly what he's doing everytime he comes out with another one of his gems.

Also I've gotta say I agree with him, fucking workshy scrounging public sector gypos.

It was great to see the shock on that stupid Welsh bird's face. Since I've got HD TV she's becoming less attractive by the day.

  3. I have to say the outrage bus is being well dusted down by the "outraged" unions and Labourites, why, even Mr Multibrand, labour leader extraordinaire, says the comments are "absolutely disgraceful and disgusting" (although he does admit he never heard them as he didn't see the show or, therefore, the context in which they were said).

There's copies of "The Socialist Worker" being ruffled up and down the country as we speak.

    Mega SOH failure:

Surely after a hard day on strike a silly joke like that must have cheered at least a few of 'em up.

  5. Much as I despise the bore I have to agree. He's done what he always does and toys are being thrown out all over the place - far better just to ignore the cunt.

  6. A nice term in prison will straighten out his mind.
    The man's a dick.
Glad to see Unison calling for his sacking.
Appears he's forgotten who actually pays his inflated wages.
I like a joke just as much as the next person but he was out of order.

  8. An excellent and well thought out plan with a punishment befitting the crime. You do realise that locking away everyone who suggests someone "Should be shot" in a jovial manner would result in millions of taxpayers money being spent to imprison them? I would image the public sector would take quite a financial hit from that move, no?

He is, but he knows how to get both a reaction and publicity. And he makes normal people laugh at people like you.

Well, they would because they're humourless Socialist wankers too.

He pays his own. What the BBC pay him is more than covered by the amount he and his cohorts generate for the BBC with the Top Gear brand.

Clearly you don't as you appear to have scuffed your My Little Pony knickers over this.

    Edited for quote faff.

Well what did the BBC honestly think was going to happen when they put him on the show and fed him the questions. Rank hypocrisy from Aunty B to wring their hands. If they don't want the risk they shouldn't give him air time. Interesting to see what will happen post Brand/Ross.

  10. Probably the same thing as then and with Jimmy Carr's Paralympics gag. A lot of people who didn't even see or hear it when it aired and cant see it for what it was will slowly become outraged because they like being angry.

A "sleb" courting controversy? Well, who'd a thunk, that's a new one on me.

He's a prat, but quite amusing at times. With regard to the strike, I'm abvialent. I understand people are unhappy at what they see as a rough deal, but I also see that there is very little money to be spread around. This isn't merely a British problem, it's a world-wide problem, caused not by any one government, or person, but by the world economy as a whole.

As I said elsewhere though, I'd actually like to be in the kind of job which pays enough to warrant my going on strike over pension reforms. At present, I don't have a pension plan because I can't afford one.

  12. i think he`s great, he says what he means and couldn`t care about pc. top man clarkson.

  13. Just to put this in context for the outrage whores:

Now back the bus up, put the toys back in the pram and get a fcuking sense of humour.

Well he's bright enough to know the rules by which the game is played and there is a time and a place. I think it was a wasted comment, would have liked to have seen Paxman's face, he would have created more rather than fire it off at clueless children's presenters. Post watershed he would achieved universal acclaim for articulating a sentiment many of us agree with. Pre watershed he just sets himself up as a target to be run down by the outrage bus. Which is a shame.

Mind you, memo to Top Gear production team, why not have them build an outrage bus and then see how fast the Stig can get it round the track........

  15. I do love the way you bite.
It makes an otherwise dull day much more bearable after all the deaths I have dealt with over the past week.
We are of course all entitled to our opinions. I value yours and respect it as I hope you do mine.
I have enjoyed the banter but now will you please stop stalking me or I will tell matron about you.
