In a way. One of my current work colleagues is a follower, there are a few in the building, and I spent 12 years in Saudi having it banged into my ears every year by the local religious bobby trying to convert us.

:(

Survived the mind control though

:)

I think

Wow I was hoping that Christmas would stir positive vibes and smiles ... However, to those of you are excited about the Holidays I think it's great - I thought it was too early but because I work on behalf of the christian based charity: Send A Cow. They are currently working on a really quirky catalogue coming out soon (sendacow.org.uk) will keep you updated about it and you'll see what I mean but other then that it's CHRISTMAS soon! :D
WreckerL: I use to Live in Mombasa and I agree it really is an amazing little town. Did you go to the crocodile farm or the nature trail? My 2 favorite places x

He's more likely to have visited the Nelson bar or the Copacabana like the rest of us. :D
And as he stated they "Went alongside" probably had more time as he did not have to wait for "K" boats.

I received the RNLI gift book today, and this year one can buy "virtual gifts" for the crews, including navigation lights, sea boots, a lifejacket check and seagoing gloves. If "send a cow" can get a plug, then surely the RNLI can!

Thats great - I think Christmas Catalogues are a great way to fundraise for charities. The thought of knowing that you have helped someone that can make a difference for their upcoming years can leave you feeling quite satisfied. For example in our catalogue to help poor farmers and encourage sustainable farming...we've added these options:
Perfect Plots £10 –Training on how to build a vegetable garden.
Beat the Bugs £15 - Training in animal well being and basic veterinary care.
A Cracking Team £30- 10 chickens with training. Etc.
Will keep you updated with more of our initiatives - rather quirky ...don't you think :) God Bless x

Haha - no the charity provides poor farmers with 10 chickens in the hope of organic rearing as well as to provide the farm with food, extra monies made from e.g. eggs that they manage to sell, help with then being able to send their children to schools and other things to say goodbye to poverty .... Training methods are given to the farmers to help them look after the chickens in terms of health, hygiene, feeding, rearing, etc.
