  8. 2011 will be the 100th Anniversary of RM in Aviation, hopefully 3 BAS/847 and others will be getting together at VL for a few quiet beers!

  9. "Fortunately the crew of the Sea King helicopter of 846 Naval Air Squadron based at the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton are accustomed to providing medical evacuation assistance as part of their duties in Afghanistanâ€, said Sgt Lloyd, the aircrewman, “We were able to respond quickly and were delighted to have supported both the injured lady and the emergency servicesâ€.

There's no way a bootneck came out with that!

Gav Simmonite recently won the DFC (I think) for actions in Afghanistan. The boy is busy! Well done to him, Jase Lloyd and the crew.
