  2. Despite P_Ts unambiguous answer, it would depend on the threat, without resorting to Nuclear option, if the protagonist was well equipped, trained and big enough, that would probably be a NO (at least not without our NATO allies)

  3. On our own? No way. With others, yes. UK forces have been depleted over the years and we would be hard pushed to put together a "battle" fleet. And don't give me the bollocks of, "we may be smaller, but our ships deliver a bigger punch."

  5. I was lead to believe Trident missiles pack a somewhat bigger punch than what many other countries can. Granted they're from boats not ships.
